Xerox to launch litigation services line after Amici acquisition

Xerox announced it is now officially launching the Xerox Litigation Services line of electronic discovery and records management service.

Xerox Litigation Services will combine records management consulting from Xerox Global Services with Amici's e-discovery technology to provide customers with a secure way to collaborate with law firms, partners and government agencies on litigation and regulatory compliance matters.

Charges related to purchase drop Epiq earnings

Citing costs related to its purchase of nMatrix Inc. last year, Epiq Systems Inc. reported lower second-quarter earnings on higher revenue compared with last year.

After the market closed on Tuesday, the Kansas City, Kan., company reported earnings of $528,000, or 3 cents a share, for the quarter that ended June 30. This is an 82 percent decrease from earnings of $2.9 million, of 15 cents a share, for the same quarter last year.
