Near-Duplicate Technology Provider Equivio Launches Case Studies Contest

I have been ask to help judge and score the entries of the Equivio Case Studies Contest described below. The contest ends September 30, 2008.

Equivio offers breakthrough technology to detect near-duplicate files. Near-duplicates represent 30-50% of email and document repositories. By grouping the near-duplicates, Equivio helps optimize the document review process.

The contest allows e-discovery providers and clients that use Equivio to provide case studies about how Equivio's near-duplicate technology was used and what impact it had on their case.

Equivio has selected a distinguished panel of eDiscovery experts to judge and score the entries. The contestant with the highest cumulative score will win the grand prize, a dream vacation or home theater system, each valued at over $3,500. The second and third place contestants will win the finalist prize, an Epson printer valued at $200. Those who refer winning contestants will win a $100 Amazon gift card for each winner they refer.

Equivio reports that they have no interest in asking you about the confidential details of your cases and don't want the names of the parties. They just want to know how you used Equivio in one or more of your cases and what impact it had. And yes, this does mean you can submit more than one entry, thus increasing your odds of winning. (You can only win one prize, however.)

If you use Equivio, please enter the Equivio Case Studies Contest now. LINK

If you know someone who uses Equivio, please persuade them to enter the contest. Just make sure they enter your email address in the entry form to receive credit for the referral.
